We would like to introduce our families to the GELDS, which stands for Georgia Early Learning Developmental Standards. The purpose of the GELDS is to outline what children should know and be able to do before they enter kindergarten. These research-based standards are guides for teachers and parents to use to help your child develop the skills and concepts needed to progress in all phases of learning.
The GELDS will provide clear expectations for children to ensure a high-quality learning experience through curriculum, instruction and teacher preparation.
You may go to www.decal.ga.gov to learn more about the GELDS.
You will notice the poster in our center which is a quick guide to the GELDS. It gives you a look at what developmental standards our teachers are using to prepare their lessons.

In case of inclement weather, check WSBTV.com for daycare closings/delays. We follow Henry County Public Schools. If Henry County Schools close for any kind of inclement weather, we will be closed as well. You can also check our Facebook page for school updates.
